A: KRM Custom Homes has been around since 2004.

A: KRM typically builds 50-75
Q: What price range of homes do you typically build:
A: KRM homes start at $450K and up
Q: What areas do you serve?
A: KRM is based out of Urbandale but build custom residential homes all throughout the Des Moines Metro.
Q: What style of homes do you consider your specialty?
A: Ranches. Style wise, we can do all but our niche is transitional to traditional
Q: Do you use hired contractors or do you have paid employees?
A: A mix, we have KRM employees and vendors
Q: Who carries the construction loan?
A: Depends, we take it case by case
Q: Do you have spec plans to start from?
A: Yes, we have stock plans but we are a full custom builder as well so we can do full custom plans as well
Q: How long does it typically take to build a custom home?
A: In most cases, I would say from when we break ground it is 5.5 – 6.5 months, depending on the size and customization it may vary. After we break ground, we will give you a closing date within 5 days of breaking ground so you can plan accordingly
Q: Are you fully licensed and insured?
A: Yes
