A: 9 years (spring of 2015)

Q: How many homes do you typically build in a year? 

A: We average 20-30 homes each year

Q: What price range of homes do you typically build? 

A: $350,000-$3 million! (the lower end would be our townhome products)

Q: Do you have a minimum build price for customs? If so, what?  

A: It’s best to consider a minimum of $400,000 for a home without the lot. 

Q: What style of homes do you consider your specialty? 

A: Our buyers’ style is reflected in our builds, from very modern, to full on farmhouse, and everything in between: we customize the home just for our buyers! We build your custom home, with your custom price!  We are a cost-plus builder, so we are very transparent about pricing throughout the build process.  We bid each home specific to our buyers’ selections.

Q: Do you use hired contractors or do you have paid employees on staff? 

A: Hired contractors, though we have site supervisors in the field who may swing a hammer once in a while too! 

Q: Who carries the construction loan? 

A: This depends on who owns the lot!  If we own the lot, we will carry the loan.  If the buyer owns the property, typically, they will carry the loan.

Q: Do you have spec plans to start from? 

A: We have a few plans on our website but customize each plan for our buyers.  We can start some scribbles on a napkin, use ideas from Pinterest or other home inspiration sites, or start from one of our stock plans. 

Q: How long does it typically take to build a custom home? 

A: It’s smart to estimate about 5-7 months for the build time from dig to closing.  We usually need about 30-60 days before that to design the home, make selections, finalize bids, and collect permits!

Q: Are you fully licensed and insured? 

A: Yep!

Q: Any promotions/incentives? 

A: We’re open to offers on our market homes
